Dr. Cedric Wu is the Vice President of the Innovation Center at GenScript, where he leads R& D teams focused on new technology development driven by semiconductor chips, including DNA synthesis, mRNA, circRNA synthesis, and their application in molecular diagnostics and DNA data storage. With expertise in nucleic acid chemistry, protein engineering, genome editing, and RNA biology, Dr. Wu has more than twenty years of research experience in academia, government, and industry. Dr. Wu received his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he also completed post-doctoral training in nucleic acid, surface, and analytical chemistry. As an accomplished researcher, Dr. Wu has invented cutting-edge technologies and published his research inleading scientific journals. He has authored more than 30 articles and patents and has numerous trade secrets in commercial production lines. With his extensive experience and expertise, Dr. Wu is at the forefront of driving innovation in the life sciences industry.
