Jack Geremia, Ph.D. is a serial inventor, founder, and startup executive with multiple successful company builds and both public and private exits (Midori, acquired AEX:DSM, IPO NASDQ:KLDO). Jack is currently CEO & Co-Founder of Matterworks Inc., leading an effort to reveal hidden biological insights from unstructured omic data. Prior to Matterworks, Jack served as Global Head of Discovery for DSM Nutritional Products (Kaiseraugst, CH).  He was an early visiting scientist and entrepreneur-founder with Flagship Ventures (now Flagship Pioneering) and served previously on the regular faculty of the University of New Mexico (NSF CAREER Award, AFOSR Young Investigator).  Jack holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Princeton University, an h.B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Delaware, and is a recognized biotechnology leader with 100+ published patents, patent applications, peer reviewed manuscripts, and industry publications.
